Bell Centre, Monteal - Adonis Stevenson (18-1, 15KOs) stopped Noe Gonzalez (28-2, 20KOs) in two rounds to walk away with the IBF Inter-Continental, WBC Silver, NABO and NABA super middleweight titles.

Stevenson was aggressive in the first round, but in the second he really let his hands go. Stevenson stunned Gonzalez with a combination of punches at close range, and let his hands go with Gonzalez pinned against the ropes. The referee jumped in to wave it off, but the stoppage seemed to be a little too fast.
agree..let it be a late stoppage with brain bleeding rather than stopping the fight too early and thus deny us a clean "stretcher" KO. Let's do it the "Indonesian" way, last man standing up is the winner.
Yes, because that's exactly what everybody is saying. :pat: ...

I thought it was a good stoppage. The grimace on Gonzalez face said everything. He also had a hard time getting back to his corner when the ref called the fight. We live to fight another day.

Good performance, I don't think the stoppage was THAT bad.
He's like Edison Miranda and Jean Pascal had a kid.
:lol1::lol1::lol1:
Stevenson had him on the ropes but the hometown ref effed up and stopped it way too early. Gonzalez is an experinced guy who had never been stopped and should have been given a chance.
agree..let it be a late stoppage with brain bleeding rather than stopping the fight too...
