On December 10th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, promotional firm GYM will stage the next episode of their popular series, Fast and Furious. The main battle of the evening will match middleweights David Lemieux and Joachim Alcine. The co-feature is just as interesting, as Adonis Stevenson (15-1-0) will defend his NABA super middleweight title against Aaron Pryor Jr. (16-4-0). In the process, Stevenson will attempt to capture the NABO and IBF Intercontinental titles.
"It's the biggest challenge of my career," confirmed Stevenson to BoxingScene.com/Netboxe.com. "My promoter gave me a great opportunity with this fight. I know it's going to be a challenge because he comes to win, but I will be ready. "
In his most recent fight, Stevenson won by knockout on the Mayweather-Ortiz undercard in Las Vegas. Pryor has never been stopped and defeated such opponents as Librado Andrade and Dyah Davis.
Also on the same card, former NABA champion Arash Usmanee (15-0) will face Daniel Attah (26-8-1), a former Olympian (1996) who has a good reputation on an international level. Colombian light heavyweight Eleider Alvarez (6-0) has a rendezvous with former WBA Fedecaribe, and WBC Latino champion Emiliano Cayetano (21-3-0) of the Dominican Republic.
Heavyweight Oscar Rivas (7-0), Didier Bence (3-0), super-lightweight Ghislain Maduma (5-0), featherweight Tyler Asselstine (7-0), and super featherweight Baha Laham (6-0) will face opponents to be confirmed at a later date.
