Adonis Stevenson-Donovan George in Play For Oct. 13

By Osman Rodriguez

BoxingScene.com has been advised that a date of October 13th, at the Bell Centre in Montreal, is being discussed for the IBF final eliminator between hard punching super middleweights Adonis Stevenson (18-1, 15KOs) and Donovan George (23-2-1, 20KOs). They were scheduled to fight earlier tonight on ESPN's Friday Night Fights season finale, but a few days ago Stevenson withdrew with a hand injury. He was replaced by Dionisio Miranda, who George stopped in six rounds.

I'm glad it got rescheduled. I was disappointed when it was cancelled. After watching George get tagged quite a bit last night though, I see Adonis getting an early stoppage.
