Adamek Tells Haye: I Have a Contract, Wait Your Turn!

By Luke Furman

In many published interviews, WBA heavyweight champion David Haye made statements about defeating Wladimir Klitschko so badly, that older brother Vitali Klitschko will withdraw from a scheduled fight with Tomasz Adamek to avenge the honor of his family. Vitali is on the calendar to face Adamek on September 10 in a Polish soccer stadium. Wladimir face Haye later tonight in Hamburg, Germany.

Adamek says there is no chance of Vitali pulling out to face Haye. There are signed contracts in place to prevent that possibility.

"There is no such possibility. We have signed contracts and everything is set to take place in September with Vitali Klitschko - regardless of the outcome of the fight Wladimir and Haye. If David Haye wins and wants to fight Vitali, then he has to stand in line. These are the rules," Adamek said.

If Vitali needs to fight both blownup cruiserweights in a span of 2 months just so Haye doesn't retire.. that's what he'll do.
