According to multiple sources, promoters in Poland are exploring a heavyweight battle between former two division champion Tomasz Adamek and the young slugger Artur Szpilka.
Both fighters suffered defeats in their 2014 ring debuts. Adamek lost a tough twelve round decision to undefeated Vyacheslav "Czar" Glazkov in March, and Szpika suffered his first career defeat in January when he was knocked out by Bryant Jennings.
Szpilka (16-1, 12 KOs) and Adamek (49-3, 29 KOs), if an agreement is ever reached, could potentially take place on November 8th at the new hall in Krakow.
While there have been discussions, the two sides have been unable to reach a deal as of yet and there is no information regarding how close or how far away the two sides are from actually reaching one.
