A deal has been closed for 6'6 Kevin McBride (35-8, 29 KOs) to face Tomasz Adamek (43-1, 28 KOs) in April. The Polish former champion wants to use the height and size of McBride to prepare for a scheduled fight with one of the Klitschko brothers in September. The exact date and location, Poland or the United States, has not been revealed. Despite some of McBride's shortcomings, Adamek will not overlook his opponent with a huge fight already scheduled for September.

"I always say that in boxing, you shouldn't underestimate any opponent. Kevin McBride is a solid opponent," Adamek told RingPolska.pl
