Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs) was angry with a recent story being circulated by WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck (34-1, 25KOs). According to Huck, he sparred Adamek a few years back and battered the Polish star. Adamek disputes Huck's account of the sparring session, claiming the German star was fouling and trying to turn a friendly bout of sparring into a street fight.
When asked for a response, Adamak replied - "This is total crap. He sparred with me for four rounds. He fouled and wouldn't fight fair...to the extent that his own coach started screaming at him. After four rounds, the sparring was over and Huck left the ring. My coach, who at the time was Andrew Gmitruk, he saw everything. I remember that on that day I was a better fighter than Marco Huck. That's all."
