Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (48-2, 29 KOs) has denied reports of a planned fight with undefeated Bryant Jennings (16-0, 8 KOs) in Philadelphia on November 19. Adamek returns on August 3 in Uncasville against an opponent to be determined with NBC Sports televising. Adamek is hoping to grab a few wins with the goal of gaining the opportunity to fight for the world championship in 2014.
"[Am I fighting Jennings], not that I know of. I have a different plan [for my career] than a fight with Jennings. I do not know where this information came from. I mean, I know, because I've read it on the internet, but he can say anything to anyone. I will say this: the fight between Adamek and Jennings will not happen," Adamek said.
