Abraham vs. Stieglitz Rematch Eyed, Possibly April 9

According to Armenian media, the team of the WBO super middleweight champion Arthur Abraham (36-3, 28 KOs) is planning to stage a rematch with Robert Stieglitz (42-3, 23 KOs) next year. The bout which is going to take place in one of the German cities, and is tentatively scheduled for April 9th.

The two fighters first time clashed in August 25th. After 12 bitter rounds the judges scored unanimously in favour of Abraham. Since that win the Armenia-born champion defended his title once, stopping French Mehdi Bouadla (26-5, 11 KO) last week.

I had Stieglitz winning the first fight 115-113 and he deserves a return. Hopefully he has recovered well after all the personal problems he has had including being violently attacked by his father-in-law .
