London's George Groves will meet Syria's Baker Barakat, 37-13-4 (25),  at Germany's GETEC Arena on Saturday night in a fight that will be shown live on BoxNation.  Promoter Eddie Hearn has secured Groves, 24, a slot on the undercard of Arthur Abraham's WBO super middleweight with Robert Stieglitz in a bid to keep the 17-0 (13) fighter busy ahead of a proposed outing on the undercard of Mikkel Kessler's rematch with Carl Froch, which takes place at O2 Arena on May 25th.

Interestingly, Groves's fight with Barakat, 32, will be shown on BoxNation, Sky channel 437, leading to speculation that Frank Warren, Groves's former promoter and a shareholder in BoxNation, is now working in harmonious tandem with Hearn.  However, Saturday's card is promoted by Sauerland Event, who worked with Hearn when putting Kessler-Froch II together, so this weekend's fight is more a pragmatic move by all parties rather than the dawn of boxing's "Age Of Aquarius" here in the U.K., the true home of "New age promoting".
