Highly touted WBA #13 ranked heavyweight kayo artist Magomed Abdusalamov (15-0, 15 KOs) is expected to make his next homecoming a memorable one. A deal is almost complete for Mago to fight a multi-time world title challenger Jameel McCline (41-12-3, 24 KOs) on the undercard of the WBC heavyweight championship clash between Vitali Klitschko and Manuel Charr. This night of boxing is set to take place on September 8 at Olimpiyskiy Palace of Sports in Moscow, Russia.

Well-known Russian boxing impresario Stepan Lendyel, who works as a Russian representative of Sampson Boxing of Russia, confirmed that Abdusalamov, 31, who has already got three kayo wins this year, will take part in the show.

“Preliminary negotiations for Magomed to take part in this show have been successfully carried out. There is a few technical details to be resolved but all in all we can firmly state that all basic conditions and requirements for Abdusalamov’s title fight on September 8 are met at the present time”.

It has been said by Boris Grinberg, who acts as a manager of the puncher, in his interview with Allboxing.ru, that McCline will be the opponent, while WBC USNBC Silver heavyweight title will be at risk in the fight.

McCline is 43 and coming of a valiant performance against another notable prospect Artur Szpilka in his last fight this June. He has fought no less than four times for various pieces of the heavyweight title in his past.

mccline hasn't looked too good in this comeback but he broke the polish guys jaw & gets another decent fight on a larger scale. if he pulls the upset then the silver belt will give him a top 15 WBC…
