Aaron Williams-Galen Brown Clash Tops Bill on July 24

American Dream Presents and Wild Bill’s Boxing have teamed up with  entrepreneur DeMelvin Patterson to produce the return of professional boxing to the Heart of St. Charles Banquet Center on July 24.  The venue regularly hosted professional boxing until 2007 on Thursday nights.

“Awesome” Aaron Williams (21-3) is headlining the card in a six (6) round contest with Galen Brown.  Williams, who hails from Cleveland, OH, returns to the ring for the first time in three (3) years, since kayoing Shane Steele in Las Vegas.  Williams, a former top contender, is determined to revitalize his career - the road starts in St. Charles.

Former WBF United States Cruiserweight Champion Chris Eppley (10-4) from nearby Cedar Hill, Missouri will co-feature the event.  Eppley, a tremendous amateur, is a local favorite and looks to return to his winning ways against an unknown opponent.

Tucker Ray, son of former World Cruiserweight Champion Terry Ray, will make his professional debut as well.  The younger Ray, 19, who resides in Terre Haute, IN is a former Jr. Golden Glove Indiana Champion and 2-time Indiana Jr. Olympic winner will compete in the cruiserweight division professionally.

Other fighters will  be announced soon.  Also, St. Louis’ top amateur boxers will compete in four (4) USA Boxing bouts.  Tickets go on sale June 1st, with prices as low as $20.00.

American Dream Presents is a Las Vegas-based entertainment company owned and operated by Ronald Johnson.  Wild Bill’s Boxing is a professional boxing promotion headquartered in Terre Haute, Indiana.
