IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook (33-0, 22KOs) feels confident that he finally proved his worth to the critics who never saw him as a top level fighter. Last Saturday night, Brook captured his IBF title with a twelve round majority decision win over previously undefeated Shawn Porter (24-1-1, 15KOs) at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

“I think I’ve been a bit underrated,” Brook told Talk Sports' Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast. “I think people were a bit fed up hearing ‘can he or can’t he’? It was down to me to get in there and prove I belong at the top level. People were fed up waiting for me to get in there, but now they know I belong at the top.”

Now Brook wants the very best that his division has to offer - including Floyd Mayweather, Amir Khan and Manny Pacquiao.

“It’s a short career and I want to get in there with the very best fighters. I want to test myself and excite the fans to the maximum,” he added. “To me it’s about having a fight and seeing the expression on the fans’ faces, making them so happy because they’ve had a brilliant fight.”
