StubHub Center, Carson, California - Middleweight prospect Jason Quigley (2-0, 2KOs) secured a three round stoppage over Fernando Najera (1-4). Qugley wore him down until Najera was unable to come out for the fourth.

Deontay Wilder (32-0, 32KOs) stayed busy by stopping Jason Gavern (25-17-4, 11KOs) in four rounds. Wilder was tentative, taking things slow and working his jab in the first, as Gavern was trying to land a miracle bomb on his chin. The second round was more of the same, with Gavern not making it easy for Wilder to land. There was a flash knockdown in the third, which appeared to be more of a slip was Gavern went down to his knees from a shot that grazed the back of his head. Wilder scored a legit knockdown early in the fourth. Gavern was dead tired, barely able to throw punches and his corner stopped the fight before the start of the fifth.

Wilder now moves forward to a mandatory shot at WBC champion Bermane Stiverne.

Former champion Jorge Linares (37-3, 24KOs) moved one step closer to a lightweight title shot with a second round battering of Ira Terry (26-12, 16KOs). Linares had Terry in all sorts of trouble in the first round, and finished him off early in the second with hard punches, including huge straight right, to put Terry down hard and he required assistance just to get back to his feet.

Junior middleweight Alan Sanchez (14-3-1, 8KOs) dropped previously undefeated Jose Luis Ramirez Jr. (7-1-1, 4KOs) a total of four times, mostly from hooks to the body, before the fight as waved off in the third round.

Heavyweight prospect Dominic Breazeale (12-0, 11KOs) destroyed Billy Zumbrun (27-13-1, 13KOs) in two rounds. Zumbrun was down twice.

In a battle of undefeated super middleweight prospects, Callum Smith (13-0, 10KOs) made his American debut with a vicious first round knockout of Abraham Hernandez (5-1, 3KOs). Smith landed a series of punches in the closing seconds, including a big right that sent Abraham down and out on the bottom rope. The knockout came at 2:59 of the round.

Hot junior welterweight prospect Luke Campbell (7-0, 5KOs) made his American debut with a one-sided pounding of Steve Trumble (13-31, 8KOs) for a knockout win at 1:15 seconds of the second round. Campbell will return on October 25th to action for Hull Arena in Yorkshire.
