Sheffield's Kid Galahad, 22, has not inked a mid-March showdown with domestic rival James Dickens, 21, despite rumours to the contrary sweeping across the Internet.  Liverpool's Dickens,  13-0 (5), sent out a Tweet that suggested the fight was a done deal and that the English Super bantamweight title would be on the line, which came as news to John Ingle, the matchmaker for Galahad's promoter Mick Hennessy, who has guided the 13-0 (6) prospect to the WBC International title.

"There's nothing agreed," said Ingle when speaking to BoxingScene.  "The Board are sending it to purse bids for the English title next month, so I don't know whether he's got the wrong end of the stick.  I've talked to Richard [Poxon of Hatton Promotions] about making that fight.  We talked about doing it as a final eliminator and building it up by getting them on the same show.  Then the Board said they wanted to make it and we said we'd see what we can do.  I'm waiting a date from Mick (for Hennessy Sports next show), he's waiting on one for Ricky, so we're trying to sort it out."

It is an intriguing match on paper, but there are still a few things to be settled before this particular "battle of the undefeated" is settled.
