WBA middleweight champion Felix Sturm (37-2, 16KOs) is looking to return in the month of August. Sturm retained his title last Friday in Cologne with a nine round stoppage of countryman Sebastian Zbik. Sturm, the WBA's super champion at 160-pounds, received special permission from the sanctioning body to fight Zbik - as long as the winner would face mandatory challenger and WBA "regular" champion Gennady Golovkin (22-0, 19KOs) by September.

No information has been disclossed regarding Sturm's opponent, but Golovkin, now promoted by K2, expects to receive his ordered shot. Sturm could lose his "super champion" status if he doesn't move forward with a Golovkin clash as previously agreed upon with the WBA.
