A smoothly performed official weigh-in took place for the anticipated battle between Japan's Koki Kameda and Mexico's David De La Mora, who contend for the world bantamweight championship (WBA) on the 31st of August at the Nihon Budokan in Tokyo.

Kameda and De La Mora came in at the limit of their division: 53,500 kg [117.9]. Both predict a real war. Everything is no set for a battle between two fighters, Kameda (25-1, 16 KOs) and De la Mora (23-0, 16 KOs), who almost have identical records.

Koki Kameda, 24, who won three world belts at different weights, for the second time defends his world bantamweight belt. As for David de la Mora, 23, he will go for his first belt as an undefeated boxer.

During the official weigh-in, the champion tried to intimidate the challenger, whodid not fall for the provocation.
