Undefeated heavyweight prospect Manuel Charr (16-0, 8KOs) has announced via the social networks that he parted ways with promotional company Universum. He reached an understanding with manager and Universum VP Dietmar Poszwa. Charr, 26-years-old, was last seen in the ring in December, winning an eight round majority decision over veteran Zack Page.

"The contract is dissolved. Very soon, I'll let you know when and where I'll step in the ring again. I want to thank Universum for the success and support."

Charr began his career as a boxer, along with cruiserweight king Marco Huck, under the banner of rival promotional company Sauerland Event, where he stayed from 2005 to 2007. Under the auspices of the Universum, Manuel fought for them from 2007 to 2011.

It is possible that Charr will join Felix Sturm's Promotion in Cologne (Germany), where the Charr regularly spent time preparing for battle.
