Trainer Freddie Roach was contacted for a status on the negotiations for Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao. Roach is usually a very vocal person on the part of Pacquiao when his fights are being negotiated. Roach told Golzka he isn't involved in the present negotiations.

"I don't know what's going on. I'm staying out of it. I just know Manny will be fighting someone in November. We hope the opponent is Mayweather. If not, we'll fight someone else and we'll be ready," Roach said.

Later in the discussion Roach continued to say that Mayweather had the appearance, in the recent win over Shane Mosley, of a fighter who no longer used his legs.

"You can see in the Mosley fight that his legs are not there. He's [Mayweather] a very good fighter, but my guy is better and I know my guy can beat him," Roach said.
