His license was revoked in February over a plaster-like substance being discovered in his hand wraps about thirty-minutes prior to his fight with Shane Mosley on January 24. The suspension is up on January 23 and Margarito is then free to apply for a new license. Margarito plans to return between February and March, at welterweight, but says a move to junior middleweight is in his future. "I had three or four pounds left to go, and then I was stuck. I struggled to make the weight. I trained like I always do, but ... what really messed me up was the weight," Margarito said.
