Floyd Mayweather Jr. believes his career rival, Manny Pacquiao, can bounce back from the shocking sixth round knockout defeat at hands of Juan Manuel Marquez. On December 8th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Pacquiao was knocked out cold when he walked into a right hand counter from Marquez.

Most felt the knockout loss was the nail in the coffin of a mega-fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao. Mayweather doesn't rule the fight out, but he doesn't appear to show any urgency if the match doesn't happen.

"Pacquiao can bounce back. He needs to rejuvinate himself, take a vacation, spend some time with his family, get focused and he'll be okay. My legacy is defined on what Manny Pacquiao does. My legacy is defined by what I do in my career," Mayweather Jr. told Power 106.
