Shortly after Juan Manuel Marquez’s stunning, one-punch knockout over Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas, Top Rank CEO Bob Arum addressed the media late Saturday night.

One question floating around in everyone’s mind is whether or not Pacquiao will continue fighting.

Despite the damaging setback that saw him lying on the canvas practically unconscious, Arum insists that Pacquiao will push forward with his career.

“Manny says he wants to keep fighting,” Arum claimed.

Asked if we might see a fifth fight on the horizon between the two rivals, Arum wouldn’t rule it out.

“Listen, I don’t think there was one person, whether on television or here, who saw that fight tonight, that wasn’t just blown away,” Arum added.

“And if there’s a demand for a fifth fight and the guys want to do it again, what better fight can you make?”

Finally, Arum took some shots at several members of the media who had questioned the legitimacy of the fight heading in.

“Everybody accused me of trying to hype this fourth fight.” Arum revealed. “Everybody said ‘We don’t want to see it anymore’. That was the geniuses that write for boxing. But I said it aint going to be like the first three fights. It’s going to be different from the first three fights. They’re going to throw caution to the wind and go at each other and that’s exactly what happened.”
