An article recently ran on BoxingScene.com that stated that former junior welterweight champion Amir Khan was interested in facing the winner of the fight between his fellow countryman Kell Brook and American Devon Alexander, who holds the IBF welterweight crown.  The fight is scheduled to take place on January 19th at a venue in the United States to be determined.

Alexander's manager and trainer Kevin Cunningham likes Khan's plan and hopes that he doesn't change his mind after he sees the outcome of the fight.

"If Khan wants the winner he can get it. First Brook then Khan, sounds like a plan. After Devon beats Brook I hope Amir doesn't get amnesia," Cunningham told BoxingScene.com.
