Bantamweight contender Cesar Seda Jr. (22-1, 16KOs), whose contract with Universal Promotions and promoter Gary Shaw recently expired, is possibly going to sign a contract with Golden Boy Promotions. In 2011, he dropped twelve round unanimous decision to 115-pound World Boxing Organization champion Omar Narvaez.

There are three deals being reviewed but Golden Boy has expressed the most interest.

"Honestly, officially, we have not yet signed anything," said the boxer's father and trainer Cesar Seda Sr., to Carlos Narvaez. "There is already an agreement, but we have not officially signed. There are only a few details that should be resolved this week. The most interest shown so far has been from Oscar de la Hoya."

Seda is possibly going to return on August 25th.
