The fight between WBO strawweight champion Moses 'Moi' Fuentes of Mexico, and the former king of that division, Ivan Calderon, will not be be held on August 4th. According to Peter Rivera, the vice president of PR Best Boxing Promotions, the fight will be moved to the end of the month and the venue could be the Sports Palace or the court of Mayaguez Mario 'Quijote' Morales in Guaynabo.

Thus, on the 4th of August at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum in Bayamon, the main event would be a fight between former champions Wilfredo 'Papito'Vázquez and Rafael Marquez, while Roman 'Rocky' Martinez would be in the co-feature against Mexico's Miguel Beltran Jr.

However, the Vazquez-Marquez fight is not signed and both Rivera and Felix 'Tutico' Zabala, president of All Star Promotions, said separately that negotiations will continue in the coming weeks and they hope to finalize a deal.

"Ivan is well advanced [in his camp] but he is not going on the 4th of August. He will return at the end of August because his opponent fought in June and we decided to do two different shows. And it could be in Mayaguez and Guaynabo. And maybe we can include McWilliams Arroyo [on the show]," Rivera added.
