Scottrade Center, Saint Louis, Missouri - WBO super featherweight champion Adrien Broner (23-0, 19KOs) knocked out his mandatory challenger, previously undefeated Eloy Perez (23-1, 7KOs), in four rounds. In the first three rounds, the bigger Broner was walking Perez down and the pressure was starting to affect Perez early. Broner was landing a lot of big shots and Perez took them well, at least in the first three rounds. In the fourth, a straight right hand Perez down, his legs were gone, and the fight was stopped. As Perez was going down, Broner caught him with another short punch to the side of the head/neck.
