British heavyweight veteran Michael Sprott (36-17, 17KOs) issued a warning to European [EBU] champion Alexander Dimitrenko (32-1, 21KOs). Last Saturday in Hamburg, Dimitrenko won a tougher than expected twelve round decision over Sprott, and now he wants to face either of the championship brothers, Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko.

During a recent post-event interview, the 6'7 Dimitrenko taunted the two brothers and claims they are only trying to fight boxers who are "light heavyweights and newbies in the heavyweight division."

Sprott, who knows the Klitschkos very well from being used as a sparring partner in their training camps, advised Dimitrenko to stay far away.

"I think Alexander should not take a fight with [either of] the Klitschko brothers. They are in another league [compared to Dimitrenko]. Alexander is the champion of Europe - and the title suits him," Sprott said.
