According to adviser Greg Leon, undefeated former two division champion Zsolt Erdei (32-0, 17KOs) is back together with former trainer Fritz Sdunek, which counters widespread reports that Erdei hired Eddie Mustafa Muhammad as the new head trainer. Erdie returned from a one year layoff in November, winning an eight round decision over Samson Onyango.

Leon states that Erdei plans to return around April and wants to land fights with Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson. If a fight with Dawson is secured, Team Erdei will consider bringing in Muhammad as an assistant trainer. Muhammad is the former trainer of Dawson.

"Should Erdei secure a fight with Chad Dawson, we would strongly consider bringing Eddie on board as an assistant based on his history as Dawson's former trainer.  Erdei is looking forward to returning to the ring around April and his two primary targets are Bernard Hopkins and Chad Dawson, in that order," Leon said.
