David Haye: "The Klitschko Brothers Fight Fat No-Hopers"

David Haye doesn't think much of the Klitschko brothers. The WBA champion says Vitali and Wladimir Klitschko fight opponents who have no chance of winning. Haye defends his WBA heavyweight title against mandatory John Ruiz on April 3 in Manchester. After the fight with Ruiz, he wants to fight other big names at the weight. He says the Klitschko tried to attack him outside the ring, a reference to when he and Vitali nearly traded blows in a restaurant last year.

"I could take the easy route like the Klitschko brothers and fight fat no-hopers and make easy defence after easy defence. I want to get in with the other champions, in real fights, for real money and hopefully restore pride to the division," Haye told Steve Bunce of The Mirror.

"They're an angry pair of brothers with some issues outside the ring. They've both tried grabbing me on the safe side of the ropes, but offered me peanuts to fight them inside the ring - that makes no sense to me! They have the other belts and if they have any pride left they will have to fight me - it's as simple as that."

Haye's real goal is to unify the heavyweight division. He wants accomplish what his idol, Lennox Lewis, did for the British boxing fans - by fixing up the heavyweight division.

"I want two more hard years in the boxing business to bring all the belts together and give the fight fans a champion they can recognise," said Haye. "I turned pro to win the world heavyweight title and that is what I've done - now I'm on a mission to unify.

"The heavyweight title has been held by some great fighters in the last 30 years but it seems there is always more than one fighter claiming to be the champion. Lennox Lewis, Mike Tyson, Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield all had their time as the number one, but it has been a mess for about 10 years."
They why did Haye refuse Wlad 50-50 offer with no options? And choose no-hoper Audley?
Yep. Haye's last 3 opponents; 37, 38, 39. Wlad and Vitaly fighting undefeated young guys in their primes when Gaye is fighting old washed up has-been or Klitschk...
How about Haye running for 12 rounds against the worst heavyweight champ in years with zero power? Can we "CRITICIZE" that or just your spelling?
We can definitely criticise (?) Haye performance against Valuev, but the difference between him and Wlad is that Haye i...
Hope you're right. I do think Adamek can KO Haye.
I'm biased towards Haye, but i'm not concerned by Adamek, he looks to have lost quite a lot of power, and seemed fairly easy to hit, Haye still has devestating power and would land a lot on Adamek imo. Ar...
I think Adamek will outbox Areolla, he will have to survive some nervy moments early on, as he cannot go into runner mode, but Areolla will tire a bit after 4 and Adamek will outbox him imo.
Hope you're right. I do think Adamek can KO Haye.
