IBF/WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko made a statement to his press service in which he talks about the upcoming bout of his brother Vitali and about the possible meeting with WBA champion David Haye.

“Vitali has a voluntary title defense on December, 12. His opponent is really tough" - told Wladimir to Klitschko.com. – "Kevin Johnson is still undefeated and he’s a good fighter, like his compatriot Chris Arreola. But Vitali is in great shape, that’s why he didn’t want to take a long time off. I would do the same, if I were him, especially considering the fact that he has a chance to fight in Switzerland where none of us have performed yet. That will be the special appeal to this fight. There is a great interest there, the tickets to PostFinance-Arena were sold out during the first week”.

Also Wladimir commented on possible bout with David Haye. “Don King and everybody else said a lot about the fight between me or Vitali and Haye. But they are not our promoters. We are promoted by our own company K2 Promotions which will make the final decision – whom and when we will fight. That’s why I don’t see any sense in commenting Haye’s words about our fight."

The point is on a given night in HW boxing anything can happen. That's the nature of HW boxing, or why would we watch? The fact that Lennox got caught by Rahman or Wlad by Sanders doesn't mean either one is a bum or a bad champion.
