At the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, middleweight prospect Matt Korobov (8-0, 6 KOs) won an easy six round unanimous decision over James Winchester (10-3, 3 KOs). He swept the cards with 60-54 across.
Filipino super bantamweight Eden Sonsona (14-3, 4 KOs) of Manila stopped Eilon Kedem (9-2-4, 6 KOs) in two rounds.
Lightweight prospect Abner Cotto (5-0, 3 KOs) picked up a six round unanimous decision over Luis Guzman (3-5, 2 KOs). The scores were 59-55, 60-54 and 60-54. Abner is the cousin to WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto. He will now support his cousin later tonight when he faces Manny Pacquiao in the main event.
