Haye Was Running, Biased Judges: Says Valuev's Trainer

The trainer of the former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolay Valuev, Alexander Zimin, thinks that the judges’ decision to give the victory to David Haye in his recent bout with the Russian boxer was unfair. According to Alexander, Haye was running around instead of boxing and didn’t deserve victory.

“To be honest, I was very disappointed, - told Zimin to Sportbox.ru. – "It wasn’t boxing, it was some kind of long-distance running. In the professional boxing only actions are evaluated. Attacking and counterattacking actions included. Based on that, Nikolay was attacking 80 percent of the fight."

"Maybe it didn’t look very impressive, but at least he wasn’t wiping his bottom against the ropes as Haye did. Professionals should lose scores for that instead of winning. That was not boxing, that was running. Of course, Nikolay wasn’t able to cope with such speed. From my point of view it was at least a draw. But the board decision was very strange – one judge gave a draw, and the others decided it was Haye’s victory by 4 points. That’s impossible!  Their judgment was biased! It’s surprising and strange."

haye did do alot of running b t his stick and move worked to perfection. also, like valuev said 12th round clinched it for haye. if it wasn't for that round I would've gave it to valuev or made it a draw. valuev was more of the agressor and was quite agile for a man his size.
Don King now has the rights to Haye, you clearly don't know how things work. Don King will profit off of Hayes next 3 fights. Valuev was close to retirement anyways. Part of the contract was for Don King to have the rights for Hayes next 3 fights, which means Don Kin...
haye did the exact same thing dirrell did, except they didn't rob haye
I Couldn't agree more! People tend to forget that boxing is hit and don't get hit. Dirrell and Haye both hit while "running" most of the night. Either way they "hit" and with Froch's sloppy ...
