According to the Dallas Morning News, a possible fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. may take place in the month of March in Cowboys Stadium in Texas. Bruce Trampler, a VP/head matchmaker for Pacquiao's promoter Top Rank, told the paper that his company is trying to organize a boxing event at the new Arlington stadium. The main event would feature Manny Pacquiao.

“Bob Arum (Top Rank president) has spoken directly to Jerry Jones. This would be an impressive site to hold a historical boxing event,” Trampler said. “We would definitely try to schedule a fight with Mayweather in March, which is something fans have been waiting to see for some time.”

Pacquiao would first have to beat WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 14 in Las Vegas. Brett Daniels, director of corporate communications for Cowboys Stadium, told the paper that initial talks have taken place with Top Rank.

“We’ve had some initial contacts. Nothing’s for sure yet, but it’s something we’ve always had in mind and that’s why we’re holding talks,” Daniels said.

I love how they keep talking about Pac-Mayweather jr even though Pac has his toughest opponent coming up. It to me is like a slap in the face for Cotto. But like i have read,Cotto is using this underdog statist to fuel his hunger to win.

I'm telling you right now...that this isn't even going to the cards....Cotto is coming to put Pacquiao away. Pac has what it takes to beat Miguel...but not on this night...Cotto is getting ready to do something special....
