BoxingScene.com was advised that a proposed Matthew Hatton vs. Gianluca Branco bout was turned down by the IBO. Hatton was scheduled to fight Lovemore N'Dou for the IBO's welterweight title on November 13 in England. N'Dou withdrew on Tuesday after suffering a bad cut above his right eye from a clash of heads during a round of sparring.

Hatton's people approached the IBO about the possibility of an "interim-title" fight against Branco. The IBO is against interim-titles and turned down their request. N'Dou is expected to return in six weeks.

First Judah ducked Matthew Hatton and now Ndou. Fact is that he's the most avoided fighter at 147.

Ed Levine has something good going on. People tend to forget that no one used to think of the WBO i...
