Palm Promotions won the purse bids for the vacant EU title fight between Lolenga Mock and Medhi Bouadla with a bid for 15 555 EUR. It΄s very likely that promoter Hans Henrik Palm stage this fight along with Mads Larsen vs Dimitri Sartison for the vacant EBU crown, also at supermiddle. Date and site for both fights are to be announced.

Heavyweights Aleksander Dimitrenko and Luan Krasniqi will go at it again November 28 in Oberhausen. Dimitrenko seemed to be on his way to an upset loss last year when he took out Luan with a left hook to the liver. Aleksander then went on to lose a WBO eliminator against Eddie Chambers and off the way he seemed to fall apart mentally against a much smaller opponent he΄s as much at the crossroads as the 38-year old Krasniqi is. At the stake is the WBO I/C title.

Bild Zeitung in Germany writes that Sauerland Event won΄t renew the contract, when it expires at the end of the year, with trainer Manfred Wolke, Olympic Gold medal winner for East Germany in 68. Wolke was the man behind Sauerland stars such as lightheavy Henry Maske, the first superstar in modern day German boxing, and heavyweight Axel Schulz but have since then also been behind a number of not so successful fighters.

K 2 East promotes a show billed as " World Boxing in Kyiv" and it does indeed go ahead in what we call Kiev October 21. Topping the bill is WBA I/C lightheavy champ Vyacheslav Uzelkov, who΄s top ranked by the WBA and should get the winner of Gabriel Campillo vs Beibut Shumenov II. In the co-feature middleweight Maksim Bursak looks to continue his unbeaten streak in a non-title ten-rounder.

Former WBA light heavyweight champ Mehdi Sahnoune have been forced to pull out of "le Grande Tournoi" due to injury and he have been replaced by Abdelhakim Derghal. The next round of "Le Grande Tournoi" goes ahead October 15 at the Cirque d΄Hiver in Paris, Derghal face Tarik Khaidouri and Djamel Selini square off against Samir Berrada. Superbantam Jerome Thomas fight Henry Lipton over six in what is his debut for AMI Production.

WBO will for the first time sanction female boxing and Ina Menzer vs Esther Schouten and Susi Kentikian vs Julia Sahin on October 10 in Rostock are now for the WBO title as well meaning there are three belts at stake in both fights.

this is an important fight for dimitrenko.an opponent he's knockout before & a chance to get some confidence going again.luan could be dangerous but sasha should be able to repeat his performance vs krasniqi & get himself back in the title hunt.

Luan was doing pretty good in that fight... If he doesnt` take another body shot he might win... I don`t really like Dmitrenko as Ukraine`s representative... Big, clumsy, mess... Same as Valuev for Russia...

I agree, it' a pointless fight for Dimitrenko. Plus Krasniqi is a quitter (he quit against Thompson) and a win over him doesn't mean much. I expect Dimitrenko to stop an uninspired Krasniqi within 6 rounds...
