Edwin Valero Wants Barrios in December, Won't Happen

I've been told Edwin Valero (25-0, 25KOs) is very upset with the recent comments that were made by Jorge Barrios on BoxingScene.com.

"I've always told you Valero's own mother would not buy a ticket to see him fight. Now you know why. Valero is a f*ggot and a prostitute. He is a communist and now even worse - he also beats his own mother. If Valero has the balls to put down his liquor bottle for one minute and sign a contract, I will show him that I’m a lot tougher than some defenseless old lady," Barrios said.

Valero wants to settle their feud once and for all, and put an offer on the table for Barrios to challenge him for the WBC lightweight title on December 12 in Venezuela. The feud has been going strong since their verbal confrontation during the press conference to announce the "Lightweight Lightning" pay-per-view, which took place in April.

A December fight won't happen. Barrios (48-4-1, 34KOs) is already committed to fighting Michael Lozada (33-5-1, 26KOs) on November 21 in Argentina. HBO Plus is carrying the fight. I was told Barrios will NOT fight Valero in Venezuela. He will only take the fight in America. Before a fight in America can happen, Valero will need to get his visa in order and get properly licensed. Texas is the only state where Valero is licensed to fight.

Well he doesn't have a visa so it's still a major problem. Still I'm not sure about his license. When I see ehim fighting anywere outside of Texas in the US I will be happy.
That articel doesn't say they got him a license. It says they are working hard in getting him one.
No it doesn't, you should read more carefully. It says "they had worked hard" - in the past tense. They used the past tense because he had a licence by then...

Man, Put that Valero into action soon! He's been idle for a long time while I think he is competitive even against JMM!
