BoxingScene.com caught up with heavyweight contender Fast Eddie Chambers (35-1), who gives his opinion on what went wrong for Chris Arreola during last Saturday's loss to Vitali Klitschko.  The WBO mandatory challenger to Wladimir Klitschko also speaks on his keys to victory and bringing back the WBO title to the United States.

BoxingScene:  First off what did you think of Arreola vs. Klitschko and did you learn anything from it to help you against his brother Wladimir?

Eddie Chambers:  I learned basically from fighting Dimitrenko that you can't just stand outside or you will get picked apart.  You have to fight your way in and if you get it they know you are going to punch so they will just hold you and wait for the referee to break you up.  You have to punch on your way in.  When Chris threw his jab on his way in he was able to land shots and the crowd got into it and everything started to look a little better.  Every time you stop throwing the jab and you stand on the outside and try to walk in even with a little bit of effort all he has to do his grab you.  There is nothing you can do at that point.  Use your legs and work your way in but throw as you go in.

BoxingScene:  You are very fast especially for a heavyweight.  Do you think that will play a major role in your fight with Wladimir?

Eddie Chambers:  That obviously will be my biggest advantage.  Part of the game plan will be getting inside and getting to the body and work my jab to his head and his body.  Just make him think about coming in rather than just sitting there picking you apart like Vitali did to Chris.

BoxingScene:  What weight do you plan on coming into the fight?

Eddie Chambers:  Same as last time about 208.

BoxingScene.  So you will be giving up 30 lbs or more in the fight.

Eddie Chambers:  I would rather be giving up a lot of weight and bringing that title back for me.

BoxingScene:  It worked well for Evander Holyfield.

Eddie Chambers:  Wasn't he 208 when he won the title?

BoxingScene:  Against Buster Douglas?  I think he was.

Eddie Chambers:  I know I can do it.  I know I am faster than Evander was.

BoxingScene:  Is your fight a done deal for December?  I thought I heard it was getting pushed back.

Eddie Chambers:  Yeah it is pushed back.  I think he had to have surgery on his shoulder.

BoxingScene:  You aren't going to have any tune ups before?

Eddie Chambers:  I don't think so.  I am just going to stay in shape and keep my weight down in case it happens.  Well not in case it happens but when it happens.

BoxingScene:  You are the WBO number one mandatory so he has to fight you.

Eddie Chambers:  Well its between me and Alexander Povetkin. He is his other mandatory.  He has been waiting since last year so he gets a title shot as well.  Wladimir said he would fight me first then Povetkin gets a shot at the winner.

BoxingScene:  We just saw 14,556 fans at Staples Center.  They were mostly American fans.  Does that pump you up to try to bring a belt back to the U.S.?

Eddie Chambers:  Yeah definitely.  I don't think I will not get anywhere that type of turnout.  The only place I can get that type of turnout is in Germany and they will be mostly for Klistchko so that is what it is.

BoxingScene:  Do you think you will get a fair shake in Germany if that is indeed where the fight takes place?

Eddie Chambers:  That I don't know.  I don't intend to leave it to the judges.  I am not saying I am going to knock him out but I am going to try to beat him so bad that there is no doubt who won.

BoxingScene:  Do you have a message for the fans?

Eddie Chambers:  I am bringing the titles back to the U.S.A.  Simple as that.  Thanks for your support.  I will bring those titles back.  All four of them.
