Gabriel Sarmiento, trainer of WBC junior middleweight champion Sergio Martinez, has ripped into Joshua Clottey. Sarmiento became very upset when he�found out�Clottey turned down Martinez as an opponent for the Pavlik-Williams undercard on December 5. He would certainly understand if Clottey was willing to take the fight -�and Top Rank [Clottey's promoter]�took the position of turning it down.�Numerous parties advised�Sarmiento that Clottey had personally turned the fight down.

"I can understand when a�promoter doesn't want to fight. But when I hear that a fighter doesn't want to fight, then I know he is�a p*ssy and a coward. He is not a warrior. He�is a disgrace. Martinez is ready to fight anyone. He told me 'dont tell me who�I need to fight, tell me�when�I have to fight,'" Sarmiento told BoxingScene.com.�
