CompuBox Punch Stats: Klitschko Wipes Arreola Out

By CompuBox

Total paint job by the 38 yr. old Vitali Klitschko, who landed 38% of his 80 - that’s right, 80 punches thrown per round - 34 more than the heavyweight average. The retreating and non-crowd-pleasing Klitschko also averaged 52 jabs thrown per round, limiting the severely overmatched Crhis Arreola to just 24 power punches landed all night. The only heavyweight championship fight that matters right now is Klit vs. Klit, a fight that would hopefully put both (and boxing fans) out of their misery!

IMO Floyd's and Vitali's performance nearly equals each other...both have the highest efficiency in the world today in boxing and both ain't going straight out for the KO. The only difference is that Vitali works for nearly the whole round of each fight, is by far bigger than Floyd, doubles up...
