BoxingScene.com spoke with international boxing agent Sampson Lewkowicz, who advised us that WBA featherweight champion Chris John will make his return to the United States in February/March and the fight will be carried by HBO. John plans to take at least a two month vacation.

WBA/IBF super bantamweight champion Celstino Caballero plans to attend the October 10 Latin Fury card in New York. Juan Manuel Lopez defends his WBO title against Rogers Mtagwa in the main event. Caballero will confront Lopez and challenge him to a fight on January 23 in Puerto Rico.
