Promoter Frank Warren is talking up some potential opponents for Amir Khan, the WBA junior welterweight champion. Warren watched last week's 140-pound doubleheader and liked what he saw. Warren is crafty and if you read between the lines, he seems to be making some early hype for a potential unification clash between Khan and WBO champion Timothy Bradley. He says Bradley is the man to beat at the weight.

"Amir Khan announced himself as a major player at 140lb last month with his win over Andreas Kotelnik. But two young fighters in the States are also making waves, and backed up their world-class credentials last weekend. Timothy Bradley is the man to beat following a cut-eye, stoppage win over Nate Campbell," Warren said.

"The ending was controversial and Campbell's promoter Don King filed a protest with the WBO, whose title was at stake. But Bradley is already looking at bigger fights, and says he wants to face Ricky Hatton next. A mouth-watering unification fight against Khan is also on the horizon."

Warren had few good things to say about Junior Witter and his loss to Devon Alexander. Witter quit on his stool at the end of the eight round. Alexander won the vacant WBC title.

"He'll now be known as Witter the Quitter. Although Witter was WBC champ for nearly two years, he always lived in the shadow of Hatton. And I doubt fans will remember him fondly as he seemed to make a name for himself by running down other fighters," Warren said.

[QUOTE=lest26;5858437]like junior witter and campbell, khan has not been in with anyone near campbells level, and witter would cause Khan trouble, Warren will avoid putting Khan in with all these real competitors and continue to pull the wool over the eyes of the casual fan and keep finding these...
