Orlando Pinero, the manager of WBO super bantamweight champion Juan Manuel Lopez, has lashed out at WBA/IBF champ Celestino Caballero. Pinero is tired of Caballero negotiating through the media. Pinero is reacting to Caballero's recent comments, where the two-title holder vowed to come to Puerto Rico to "break Juanma's mouth." Pinero told Caballero to contact Juanma's promoter, Bob Arum of Top Rank, if he really wants the fight.

"This is a desperate athlete. Every fighter has a team and it is assumed that those who do business for the fighter is the manager and promoter. They can call Bob Arum. Boxing is not a kid's game, it's  a business," Pinero told El Nuevo Dia.

The problem is not talking to Arum but Juanma's seven-figure demand to make the fight. Juanma wants at least $1 million dollars to fight Caballero. The amount of money is more money than Israel Vazquez and Rafael Marquez made in any of their trilogy bouts.
