| Berto vs Hlatshwayo Unifications Talks Begin
|
|
By Rick Reeno BoxingScene.com was advised that early talks have been initiated, by promoters Lou DiBella and Branco Milenkovic of Branco Sports, for a possible welterweight unification fight between IBF champion Isaac Hlatshwayo (29-1-1, 10 KOs) and WBC champion Andre Berto (25-0, 19KOs). Hlatshwayo captured the vacant IBF title on Saturday night with a split decision over Delvin Rodriguez at the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, Connecticut. DiBella was at the casino to view Hlatshwayo-Rodriguez from ringside. |

Don't know anything about his opponent but I'd like to see Berto back in the ring. Hopefully it won't be a boring one like his last fight. |

Hope this fight gets made. I also hope to see Hiatshwayo fight as I have never seen him fight. I'm curios to see why he is always in the top10 WW. |

i am stoked that berto wants to fire up his title reign against top competition. who needs mosley when you can fight the guy with the tongue twister name. isaac isn't total garbage but he is too small and too slow. |

IBF will strip Isaac before they can unify. Why, who knows, but they will. |
