Rafael Marquez To Face Gonzalo Munguia on August 22

Former champion Rafael Marquez will take his second tuneup bout of the year on August 22 in Jalisco, Mexico. The opponent will be Gonzalo Munguia (13-6-3, 10KOs) of Nicaragua. Marquez has said Munguia will be the final tuneup before he targets a fourth meeting with Israel Vazquez before the end of the year.

I understand they are both old, and close to their end of their careers so they want probably the more money by fighting a fight that they know how its going to end, I mean they know each other, its like me fighting my cousin that I know from twenty years ago, instead of fighting some other fool ...

I'm a big fan of both men but I do [B]not[/B] want to see these guys fight again. They've already done enough damage to one another.
