According to Manny Pacquiao's lawyer Franklin Gacal and adviser Mike Koncz, the Filipino fighter has agreed to the contract terms for a fight with WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto on November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. HBO pay-per-view will televise. According to the Manila Bulletin, Pacquiao spoke with Top Rank's Bob Arum over the weekend to close the deal. The fight takes place at a catch-weight of 145-pounds.

Koncz and Gacal had planned to meet with Arum this week but cancelled their trip to the United States after being advised that Pacquiao had agreed to the terms. Koncz told the paper that Arum will officially announce the fight in a few days.

“Bob is expected to make an announcement within the week,” said Koncz.
