BoxingScene.com was informed that Lucian Bute's rematch with Librado Andrade (28-2, 21 KOs) has been set for November 28, with the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada being the likely host. The fight will be televised on HBO's "Boxing after Dark." The first bout was televised by Showtime. InterBox, who promote Bute (24-0, 19 KOs), tried to get the rematch back on Showtime, but the network passed on the fight. Golden Boy Promotions outbid InterBox to win the promotional rights to the fight, which in turn helped Bute in the long run with respect to HBO picking up the rematch.

Their first fight took place last October, also at the Bell Centre. Bute built a very strong lead by outboxing Andrade for at least nine rounds of the fight. Andrade never stopped coming forward and by the tenth round - Bute began to fade. During the twelfth, an exhausted Bute was decked to the mat with only a few seconds remaining in the contest. There will still plenty of controversy with referee Marlon Wright, who at one point broke his count to yell marching orders to Andrade. Wright felt Andrade was too far away from the neutral corner. There was no time left when fight resumed. Bute went on to win a twelve round decision.

[QUOTE=Kenny Blankenship;5698362]Bell Centre will be sold out that night but not for this fight. On November 28 the Habs are hosting the Caps, 7:00pm start so you can forget about the Bell Centre. Only other option is Olympic Stadium...unless Montreal has another large enough arena to host this...

Andrade won the first time, won't happen this time, too bad their dead to head will be Bute 2 Andrade 0, i'll root for him though.
