WBA super featherweight champion Jorge Linares (27-0, 18KOs) is ready for a major fight in his weight class of 130-pounds. He plans to fight again in October in Japan, and then he would like to unify with WBC champion Humberto Soto (48-7-2, 31KO) of Mexico.

Both fighters recently made defenses of their titles and are looking for big fights. Soto has been mentioned several times as a possible opponent for Manny Pacquiao. That may not happen with Pacquiao's current status and big name opponents lining up to fight him.

"I will probably return to the ring in October, in Japan which is like my second home. Then I would like to unify with Humberto Soto," Linares told ESTO.

Linares is impressive, he fights dominating his oponents from the start. And when he gets pumped he starts to land by will and with power. Eyes on Linares, this boy can be great. Soto will be a tremendous oponent and a real threat.

[QUOTE=rick85;5610563]props to mexican fighters who aren't afraid to fight eachother. I only wish I could say the same thing about philipino fighters who are too pussy to go against their own countrymen at the top level. Oh wait, that's cuz they don't have enough good boxers to do so![/QUO...

Linares wins this, clear U.D. Soto can't deal with boxers.

This will be a damn good fight. Linares shouldn't go into a who-is-the-tougher-man contest which Soto will put up though. Linares will be the victor in my opinion. It's about time El Nino De Oro stepped up into the ring to prove what he is made of.
