International promoter Akihiko Honda, head of Teiken Promotions, would like to put together a super-fight on Japanese soil in the month of December.

According to reports, Honda would like to match WBC junior flyweight champion Edgar Sosa (36-5, 20KOs) to move up in weight to challenge WBC flyweight champ Daisuke Naito (35-2, 22KOs). The two fighters have similiar records and the fight just might happen.

Sosa has defended his title nine times. He plans to make one more defense in Mexico and then wants to move up in weight by the end of the year. During a recent interview, he said that he would be open to making a huge fight in Japan with one of their big names. Honda hopes that he can put a Sosa-Naito clash together.
