According to Klaus-Peter Kohl, manager of undefeated Ruslan Chagaev, the WBA heavyweight title may be at stake when his fighter challenges WBO/IBF champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday in Germany. Chagaev is the WBA's "champion in recess" and Nikolai Valuev is listed as the official champion by the sanctioning body. Universum, who promote Chagaev, sent a request to the WBA to sanction the fight.

Kohl says the WBA will make a decision on Wednesday. Besides the two major titles, the "Ring Magazine" title is also at stake in the fight. And the WBA is still investigating on who was at fault for the crumbled rematch between Chagaev and Valuev from a few weeks ago.

"This will be my biggest fight, for I'll have the best man in the ring after my brother Vitali," Klitschko said.

Who cares? At best it would be co-WBA champion, which means pretty much nothing.
