The WBC made good on their promise and stripped Timothy Bradley of the WBC junior welterweight title. Bradley still has the WBO’s version that he won from Kendall Holt a few weeks ago.

According to WBC president Jose Sulaiman, Bradley refused to fight his mandatory, undefeated Devon Alexander. The WBC was told by Bradley’s representatives that Showtime was not interested in purchasing the fight between Bradley and Alexander, and that made it hard to put the fight together without a major television outlet.

The sanctioning body ordered the two highest contenders to begin negotiations for the vacant title, Alexander who is rated at number one and the number two rated Junior Witter, who Bradley beat for the title. They have until May 21 to reach a deal. A purse bid will be held on May 22.

Brett Favre had runs of poor form, he wasn't always at his best. Witter wasn't at his best in that fight. [B]It's not just wh...

[QUOTE=Dave Rado;5168678]People have different psychological make-ups, that's all. It's far too simplistic to say that means they aren't pros. Most fighters have the occasional bad night, for whatever reason. Most sportsmen of all types do, but in boxing the consequences are far more serious than...
